Extension to 31 May for 2010 Graduate Theme Program applications

This year, two advanced courses are being offered on the theme of Graphs, Networks and Designs. These courses will run for two weeks from 5 to 16 July 2010.

These courses are aimed at postgraduate students and researchers in mathematics and related disciplines and will be presented by distinguished researchers.

Symmetry in Graphs will be presented by Prof. Brian Alspach of the University of Newcastle.  Applications of Designs will be presented by Prof. Charles Colbourn of Arizona State University.  Participants are required to attend both courses.

In addition to these courses, participants will have the opportunity to present their own research during the Graduate Theme Program. Each participant will be required to present a seminar of 25 minutes on a topic related to their research interests, preferably linked to the program theme.
